As of April 28th I have reached the $300 milestone!!! A little over actually!

I have a bit of a backlog to catch up on but I'm still open for commissions. There's no set deadline but I'm trying to raise around $600-$800 for a laptop to replace my outdated windows 7 computer in case something happens. I'm aiming for such a high end laptop so that I know it'll last me a long while and I can continue my work wherever I may be.

I have officially run out of time and Windows 7 ends in the next day or so. What this means is you won't see me very often on the internet anymore until I save up for a laptop, for safety procautions. This doesn't mean I will be completely gone, I will do what I can on my phone to stay in contact and keep things updated, but that's as much as I can do. I'm sorry if it seems like I'm making a big deal out of this, but due to technical problems I can't update and the thought of possibly losing a way for me to draw and connect with people is scary.

Thank you everyone so much for the support and for commissioning me to help my cause, I'm still open if anyone is interested and I will be working nonstop until I reach my goal this year. I want to put out positive vibes for this year, for myself and everyone, to reach your goals and get where you need to go. You can do it.

This is for people who I've owed art for in the past. I need to get this off my chest as we go into the new year. When you read this journal, please know that I'm not trying to make myself look like the victem or have people pity me. What I've done is shitty behavior and I want to atone for it. That's all.

I'm not consistent when it comes to drawing things for people. Be it commissions, art trades, requests, sometimes I manage to get it done within the week. Sometimes it takes several weeks . . . months . . . even years. If I don't keep in touch, it's because I'm scared to admit work has been slow and would rather hide than lie to someone's face. And that is not okay.

I like to think that I'm a generous person and I genuinely like to draw things for others. I don't ever want someone to think I scammed them, that is never the case on my part. But ultimately, if I don't follow through with what I promised, then it's a scam regardless.

The reason this happens is because I have a short attention span. I get distracted easily, if an idea comes into my head, I stop whatever I'm doing and go tend to that, sometimes making me forget what it was I was doing. I'm not good at managing an officient work schedule, despite trying to, and the only thing that seems to work is if I'm given a deadline which I forget to tell people to give me. I apologize if it comes off as an excuse, but I'm not going to lie with some sob story either on how my life is tough or whatever. The honest truth is I can't manage a business properly. It's something I've been needing to work on.

I'm sorry for all the people I may have upset or angered for the way I've acted. I'm sorry if your mood of me as an artist has soured because of my business practices. You can always come to me for a refund if you had paid me first as a customer. If I've wronged you in the past, please feel free to reach out to me. You don't have to forgive me. But if there's something I could do to make things better, I will.

So for my new years resolution, my main resolution, is that I'm going to better myself as an artist. Not in the drawing sense, but in the community sense. I'm going to stick to my work and get things done in a reasonable time. I'm not going to hide when things go wrong. I'm going to face my problems and tell it like it is.

That being said, I'm still going to do a $5 commission stream soon and I hope you will consider me. I want to save up for a laptop when this pc's support goes on the 14th and I can't use the internet unless I'm careful.
